Army chief called Shahbaz Sharif and prayed for his quick recovery

Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has telephoned PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif to inquire about his well-being.

According to PML-N spokesperson, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa inquired about Shahbaz Sharif’s mood on the phone and expressed concern over Corona’s being positive.

A statement issued by the PML-N said that the Army Chief prayed for Shahbaz Sharif’s recovery and also asked for help in medical treatment while Shahbaz Sharif thanked the Army Chief for his well-being.

National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also called to inquire into the mood of the Leader of the Opposition.

The two leaders expressed good wishes for Shahbaz Sharif and wished him a speedy recovery.

Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif’s corona test report was positive on Thursday morning, after which he was quarantined at his home in Lahore.

In Pakistan, the coronavirus has been diagnosed in several key figures and MPs, including Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan, and PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal.
