ISLAMABAD: In view of the growing number of cases of Corona, the federal government has started considering the option of tightening the lockdown, and it has been decided that the people will be urged to abide by the code of conduct to protect Corona.
According to the details, the number of corona patients and deaths in the country is increasing alarmingly. In this situation, the federal government has started considering strictness in smart lockdown.
Sources said that a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which the option of tightening the lockdown was considered, and it was decided that first, the people would be urged to abide by the code of conduct for protection from Corona.
It was said in the meeting that the people would be urged to implement SOPs through political leadership. The political leadership of the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and GB, would urge the implementation of SOPs.
It was decided in the high-level meeting that if the SOPs were not implemented, the toll down would be tightened.
It may be recalled that two days ago, an important meeting of the National Coordinating Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan had decided to lock down two days a week.
Talking to the media about the decisions of the meeting and future strategy, Prime Minister Imran Khan took the nation into confidence and said that from the first day I am saying that our situation is different, there are many people in Pakistan who eat two meals a day. Can’t eat, people with money were making noise, lockdown, on the other hand, there were poor people who earn and eat every day.
The Prime Minister said that the Coronavirus spreads very fast, the only lockdown was to stop the increase in corona cases, lockdown slows down the spread of Corona, the effort was to prevent a small number of corona cases, the purpose of the lockdown was hospitals. But no pressure.
In the last 24 hours, a record of 4,131 cases of Coronavirus has been reported in Pakistan, bringing the total number of patients across the country to 80,463, while 67 more people have lost their lives in Corona, bringing the total number of deaths across the country. The number has reached 1,688.
