The actor Sushant was last seen in Drive released on Netflix. His last film Dil Bechara, helmed by a friend and casting director Mukesh Chhabra, is not yet released. The movie also stars Saif Ali Khan and debutant Sanjana Sanghi.
Besides Dil Bechara, filmmaker Rumy Jafry was also looking to work with Sushant Singh in a romantic comedy film, co-starring Rhea Chakravorty
Jafry told media, “We were about to start shooting for our romantic comedy in last month, but because of the COVID-19 lockdown, we had to delay the project. We confirmed to get working as soon as the Bollywood would start regular operation again. For the film, Sushant Singh Rajput and I frequently met in the last year. He often uses to come home and spend time with my family and me.
I often visit him too. My kids were so upset with the news, and after seeing his photos that were circulated on social media, they couldn’t even sleep. It was very disturbing. He had become like family to me.”
