Coronavirus not only affected the social, economic, educational, but also religious activities around the world. Some Muslim countries also didn’t allow to perform prayers in the mosque, and some countries made SOPs that how they can go to mosques and can perform religious prayers.
In this situation, the government and Muslim religious scholars in Pakistan were set the meeting. They made some rules and regulations to perform prayers, and in Ramadan, these rules are appreciated by the government, and they thanked the mosques imam and religious scholars as well.
Now Eid-ul-Adha up ahead and interior minister give his special message in this regard.
In his special message regarding Eid-ul-Adha, Ijaz Ahmad Shah said, “Eid-ul-Adha is approaching, but the Corona epidemic will be at its peak in July, so more caution is needed on Eid-ul-Adha.”
He said that same Eid-ul-Fitr SOPs would be followed for Eid-ul-Adha prayers. SOPs are being set up for buying and selling sacrificial animals, and scholars have been consulted for this.
He said that the provinces would also be consulted for SOPs, and SOPs for sale and purchase of sacrificial animals would be completed by June 30.
Ejaz Ahmad Shah said that we have to become a nation and fight the Corona epidemic while the entire nation is working for the early eradication of Corona.
It should be noted that before Eid-ul-Fitr, the lockdown was enforced across the country for at least 2 months to prevent coronavirus. Even mosques were banned from performing other acts of worship, including Friday prayers.
After the government permitted Eid prayer gatherings with precautionary measures, Eid prayer gatherings were held across the country, and government precautionary measures were also taken on this occasion.
It is to be noted that the current numbers of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan have been reached 189000, and total deaths are 3755.
