COVID-19: Number of Coronavirus cases in Pakistan has crossed 100,000, and 700,000 tests completed.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has become the 15th country in the world out of 213 countries in terms of the number of cases after the graph of corona cases rose. Further, the number of deaths and new cases is increasing day by day, now the total number of cases exceeded more than 100,000.
According to the details, 65 more people have died of corona infection in the last 24 hours across the country, while 4,728 new cases have come to light. According to an update released by the National Command and Operations Center, the new and deadly virus has infected 103,589 people across Pakistan, bringing the death toll to 2,067.
In terms of population in Pakistan, the coronavirus statistics show that the death rate in 1 million population has increased from 8% to 9%, while the number of cases in 1 million population has also increased to 470. The rate of tests to diagnose coronavirus is 3,200 in a population of one million.
The number of patients currently being treated for corona in different cities of the country is 67,249, while so far, 34,355 patients have recovered from the virus.
The command center said that 65 more deaths were reported in the country during the last 24 hours, with the highest number of deaths in Punjab at 715, followed by 650 in Sindh, 575 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 54 in Balochistan. , 52 in Islamabad, 13 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 8 in Azad Kashmir.
The highest number of corona cases has been reported in Punjab, 38,903, 38,108 corona cases have been reported in Sindh, 13,487 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,516 in Balochistan, 5,329 in Islamabad and 932 corona cases in Gilgit-Baltistan. However, the number of cases in Azad Kashmir is 396.
During the last 24 hours, 22,650 krona tests were conducted in the country. According to the NCOC, 75,833 krona tests have been conducted in the country so far. Eighteen thousand seven hundred seventy-six patients have recovered in Sindh, 8,109 in Punjab, 3,542 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,313 in Balochistan, 843 in Islamabad, 577 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 195 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
