Karachi: The Sindh government has also given permission to restore the online transport service in the city.
According to the Provincial Minister for Transport Owais Shah, only two people will be allowed to sit in the online taxi service, and one more person will be able to sit in the taxi in case of an emergency.
He said that the online bus service would be allowed to run seat-by-seat service, and air-conditioning on the bus would not be allowed.
The Transport Minister said that the transporter who will run the AC would seat one passenger on the seat.
It should be noted that the Sindh government has given permission to run public transport in the inner city for which SOPs have also been fixed.
Lockdown in Sindh extended
It should be noted that the Sindh government has extended the lockdown in the province till June 30 and has issued a new order in this regard.
According to the Sindh Home Department, in light of the decisions of the National Coordination Committee, the Sindh government has decided that all educational and training institutions, marriage halls, business centers, and expo halls will remain closed.
According to the notification, all sports activities, including indoor and outdoor sports, gym and clubs, will also be closed.
In addition, all types of restaurants and cafes will remain closed, but shopping and home delivery will be allowed, while hotels for tourists will also remain closed.
According to the Sindh Home Department, all amusement parks, parks, cinemas, and theaters will remain closed while beauty parlors are not allowed to open.
According to the statement, all kinds of gatherings, processions, and shrines in the province will be banned until further notice.
