Pakistan Cricket Board has started firing its employees. In the first phase, five lower-grade office boys and helper staff were fired. Five level employees have been sacked, dismissal letters have been handed over to the employees, and they will be fired from July 1.
According to Geo News sources, it has been decided to lay off even more unnecessary and inactive staff. PCB’s total number of the staff almost 800 people. Senior management people are also involved. For now, only the employees from the Admin sector will be fired from other sectors as well. Sources said that in the current situation, the PCB is financially stable two and a half to three years should not be difficult.
