Shahbaz Sharif succumbed to Coronavirus, after coming to NAB office with the mob
Only Shahbaz Sharif was requested to appear before NAB, but he put himself and many other people life at risk by not telling them to stay at home.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif also fell victim to the Coronavirus, after which he quarantined himself at home.
After former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal and PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb, former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif also contracted the Coronavirus.
Confirming the diagnosis of Coronavirus in Shahbaz Sharif, party spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said that PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif underwent a corona test which came positive, after which he isolated himself at his residence.
PML-N Deputy Secretary-General Attaullah Tarar has said that Shahbaz Sharif was summoned to NAB in these circumstances, and his life was endangered. He requested to the nation to pray for his health.
Attaullah Tarar said that he had informed the NAB in writing several times that Shahbaz Sharif was suffering from cancer, and his immunity was less than that of the general public. He even offered to investigate the video link. Apart from appearing before the NAB on the 9th, he did not meet anyone and did not go anywhere else.
Deputy Secretary-General Attaullah Tarar further said that if anything happened to Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister and NAB would be responsible. Shahbaz Sharif quarantined himself at the Model Town residence and was following the instructions of doctors.
Earlier, the mother of PML-N central leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Maryam Aurangzeb also tested positive.
