Stockbroker Aqeel Karim Dhedhi has said that the stock exchange administration has started raising funds to help the families of the martyrs and the injured in the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.
Talking to SAMAA, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi said that the purpose of these funds is to provide education and housing expenses to the children of the martyrs. The administration has started raising funds, which will be distributed in the next 48 hours.
Aqeel Karim Dhedhi further said that at least Rs. 2.5 million would be given to the families of the martyrs, while rewards would also be given to the police personnel who killed the terrorists.
It may be mentioned that the case of the attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday has been registered in the complaint of SH Omithadar. The case has been registered in the Counter-Terrorism Department, Civil Lines. The lawsuit includes terrorism, murder, attempted murder, police encounter, and other charges. The lawsuit includes provisions of the Explosives Act and the Sindh Arms Act.
