Two Indian High Commission officials injured Pakistani citizen while over speeding

Police have arrested an Indian High Commission official who escaped after injuring a civilian in a speeding car crash in Islamabad.

According to sources, two Indian High Commission officials were driving at high speed in the morning when the vehicle lost control, and one person got injured.

Sources said that Indian officials tried to flee after the accident, but the citizens present on the spot apprehended the Indian High Commission officials.

Summons of Pakistani Chief of Staff in India

India has sent a letter of protest to Syed Haider Shah, Pakistan’s charge d’affaires in India, over the arrest of Indian High Commission officials in Pakistan.

A letter of protest was sent to the Indian Foreign Office summoning the Pakistani charge d’affaires, demanding the immediate release of Indian High Commission officials from Pakistan.
